The Nightclub & Bar University Rescue Tour workshops are jam-packed with educational tips and resources for bar owners and managers who want their bar the best it can be! The workshops delve into every business facet of running a bar, from creating a profitable drink/food menu, to music selection, to managing crowds as well as dealing with disgruntled employees. The events are led by Jon Taffer, star of Spike TV’s “Bar Rescue” reality show and will also feature expert mixologists and chefs, some of whom have appeared on the show as well.

Running a successful bar is both an art and science, and this season on “Bar Rescue,” Spike TV’s wildly successful reality series, NCB Media Group President Jon Taffer had to tackle both aspects to revive the 10 bars he visited. In a mere four days, Taffer and his team of experts assessed each bar from the curb to the kitchen, then overhauled everything from management to operations, from marketing to mixology and from food to furnishings. Change is never easy, whether it’s the name of the bar, the drink menu or the management style. The process often was full of conflict and resistance, but the outcome was always higher revenues and happier guests and employees. About Jon Taffer:

A founding member of the Nightclub & Bar Advisory Board, Jon Taffer’s life’s work is opening, running and also fixing bars, nightclubs and restaurants.
